Wallowa Lake Fishin' News

2-01- 2012

Wallowa Lake Kokanee fishing is HOT!!  STARTING 2012, we will be opening the week end before Memorial Day.

JUNE 1, 2011 Al Vose of Portland OR.  9.05 lbs. & 27 ".

JUNE 13, 2010: Ron Campbell of Pendelton OR caught the WORLD RECORD KOKANEE of 9.67 lbs. &  27 3/4"

This brings a total of 4 records in 2010 alone and my gut tells me a 10.3 pounder still swims somewhere in the lake, waiting to be caught.

This new record beats the official Lake Okanogan BC record of 9 pounds 6 oz.s (9.375 pounds). Official recording is in the works- CONGRADULATIONS RON!! See his fish here

Wallowa Lake will be stocked rainbow trout starting the week before Memorial Day.

Here's to having a fantastic year of fishing at Wallowa Lake :).

The Wallowa Lake MarinaWe have marvelous fishing and offer everything from kayaks to a pontoon boat to enjoy exceptional fun on the lake. Take an early morning or evening to enjoy some quiet serenity. Relax, swim or fish the pristine waters.

The morning reflections on the still water are worth the effort of getting up early. The wild life is astounding. Deer, Eagles, Osprey, and several varieties of ducks are great to observe. Have you ever seen an eagle come down next to your boat to catch a fish? It really brings nature up close and personal. What is really amazing is; when the fish is on your pole.
