Eagles and Osprey regularly patrol the lake in search of food. There are resident nesting pairs of these magnificent creatures including the Bald Eagle that sits high in a Cottonwood tree along the south shore- which is easy to observe. Watching these birds fish really puts the 'awe' in awesome!
The 2014 Kokanee season was a off year with lots of very small fish and just a few bigger ones. Trout fishing was extremely good. ODF&W implemented a tag program to track where the planted trout are going after they are released. Some tags are worth $50. Please report all tags to ODF&W. Look forward to seeing everyone next season.
